Nose
Vibrant and slightly edgy, but none the worse for it. Hint of waxiness, pigskin leather, smoked paprika, pine needles and a hint of fresh manzanilla amontillado sherry.
Palate
Fresh and energetic but with an earthy supple depth. Brazil nut, pecan and\rthen a burnt/meat note.
Finish
Clean and fresh.
Comment
What a treat to have such a selection and this to finish. Age? It's of no concern. It's balance, character and complexity that matters.
