Taster

Nose: Briny. Smoky, even sooty. Creosote. Cold ashes. Wet sand and pebbles. A\rtouch of bog myrtle. Haddock.

Palate: Satin-like, with a solid combination of sweet maltiness and smoked fish. Hint of dark chocolate, reflecting a slight bitterness. Fizzy at start but soothing on soft spices.

Finish: Very dry and sooty. With a licoriced come back.

Comment: A straightforward mariner which retains a pleasant freshness. You have\rgot to like sooty whiskies.
