Nose

Light mashy notes mixed with burning leaves and spices before a chunky malt loaf and fruit leather weight comes through. Cherry cola and oak with water.

Palate

Nutty start then a glide of toffee across the mid-palate. Some dark fruit (plum) and then the spices kick in wth a little touch of smoke.

Finish

Dry and nutty.

It's Ballantine's as you've seen it before but the 'Christmas'
