Tasting Notes

Nose

Dusty, mature Oloroso with orange peel. Treacly, smoky and pruney with bonfire embers, green nuts, camphor, dark roasted coffee and a touch of chocolate orange.

Palate

Soft and mellow with dark honey and treacle, burnt wood, smoke and green nuts. Plenty of oxidised fruit character and bitter chocolaty tannins. \n

Finish

Long and crisp with lingering dark honey tannins, sweet spice and raisinated fruit. Slightly astringent green nut after-taste. \n

Comment

A lovely, clean and sherry matured Spey.
