Nose

A dense but unyielding nose. Hints of syrup coated apricot and chunky, tight oak which is what is reining the aromas in. Late hints of herbs, wheat flakes and possibly some rye-like notes.

Palate

Soft and a little homogenous. Slightly coffeed and malty with again hints of apricots in syrup. Lightly herbal and wheaty, but like the nose the oak blankets and gives everything an over toffeed sheen. \n

Finish

Short and abrupt with a grainy, tannic finish. \n

Comment

The oak has the spirit in its vice-like grip!
