Tasting Notes

Nose

Autumnal.Charred wood, bonfire and hands plunged deep into moist leaf mould. Thick and toffeed, bold with a smoky edge Opens up to mulberry and, with water,a hint of cordite.

Palate

Seems old, deep and quite resinous. Dried fruits, walnut, furniture polish. A slow, elegant and natural quality to it Big tannins, but sweetness to balance.

Finish

Light smoke then a burst of strawberry.

Comment

Elegant and complex. Highly recommended.
