Taster

Nose: Like eating a sultana cake next to a peat fire. Becomes medicinal, Savlon. Has a certain buttery sweetness.

Palate: Soft with dried fruits and a mix of nut and peat. Rounded and soft. The peat seems suppressed.

Finish: Dried fruit. Ash.

Comment: The finish swamps the whisky a little.
