Tasting Notes

Nose

A barrel in a dunnage warehouse. Green oak with a fresh floral note playing against earthy notes. Layers of fruit, vanilla, chocolate, sugared almonds.

Palate

Spicy, elegant, wood in perfect balance. Apricot, dried apple, spice. Orange, cakey, sweetness.

Finish

Fresh, then soft, sweet fruit.

Comment

A whisky which needs time, thank god we're seeing some great old examples.
