Taster

Nose: Toffee. Earthy. Humus.Wet wood. Cubèbe pepper and long peppercorns.Raisins. Multilayered. Quite complex.

Palate: Medium bodied. Nicely flowing on the tongue. Delivers dried fruit then spices. The same layered structure as the nose. Maple syrup.

Finish: Refreshing and drying on soft spices.

Comment: A well knitted bourbon. No sharp edges but no excess sweetness either.

Nose: Macaroon cakeand almond marzipan,over-ripe pear and sweet pear,sugared almond.

Palate: Vanilla,sweet candy,polished wood, but surprisingly soft and gentle. Bourbon for beginners?

Finish: Medium,very sweet,and pleasant with no blemishes.

Comment: Ilove this distillery.This picks up where Maker's stops and is is producing\rwhiskeys for non-whisky lovers and bourbon for women and the young.
