Taster

Nose: Clean malty sweetness, but also peatiness.

Palate: Light, fir, dry. Opens up with some luscious sweetness, but with a background of grainess, a hint of black chocolate, and delicately fragrant peatiness.

Finish: A firm, grainy, almost stony, finish, but leaving a lingering peaty fragrance.

Comment: Glen Moray has never been seen as a glamorous malt, but it gains mystery with maturity.

Taster

Nose: Rich deep honeyed and raisiny; ripe bananas, nutty and creamy.

Palate: Creamily smooth, sherryish, nutty and salty.

Finish: Very long, beautifully textured, gently warming with a little pepper and smoke at the tail.

Comment: Remarkably rich, smooth and refined. A classic Speyside.
