Taster

Nose: A little damp cardboard (not a bad thing) at first then breakfast cereal. Malt loaf, oat biscuits and pears in custard. Ice cream sodas. Also a mossy, leaf mulch note.

Palate: Soft and gentle almost silky. The malt loaf note is here with butter. Apples and melted milk chocolate fruit and nut bars.

Finish: Drying with Pontefract cakes and a hint of peat.

Comment: A decent everyday dram, perfect for any occasion.

Score: 7.5

Palate: Smooth and round. Pleasant velvety feel. A bit weak at mid-palate. Toffee\rapple. Poached pears in a vanilla syrup. Touch of hazelnut.
