Taster

Nose: Initially a rootsy, fungal and chestnuty nose, giving way to rich caramel and\rhazelnut whirl.

Palate: Medium full mouth feel, with an intriguing balance between soft\rtinned peach and cream, a tangy and savoury mix.

Finish: The tangy salty notes stay the distance in what is an evolving kaleidoscope of a whisky.

Comment: Again complex and involved but in this case, confusing.

Score: 7.4

Taster

Nose: Big, stewed fruit nose. Plump, rumsoaked raisins with a pleasant cheesy\rnote behind. Farmyards once more along with a little sulphur.

Palate: Slightly bitter walnut and chicory to begin with, then some mushroom\rketchup. Liquorice, fruit cake, nuts with a fresh acidity. Good integration.

Finish: Toasted almond.

Comment: Balanced and integrated.
