Tasting Notes

Nose

Subtle, silky and sweet; the maltiness is all-embracing and clean. Soft vanilla and coriander add depth.

Palate

Early dry oak suggests decay but powering, intense, if unsophisticated malt gives balance.

Finish

Vanilla, toffee and cocoa.

Comment

An uncomplicated but less exhausted, more even Bladnoch than Adelphi's, offering pleasing balance. Past its best, though.
