Nose

Intense, pungent, youthful and herbal. Rye-like with hints of apricot, gritty coffeed wood tannins and creamy vanilla. Although young, it has a lovely complexity. Biscuity and malty notes.

Palate

Sweet apricot, followed by malt, barley and herbaceous notes. Dried fruit, coffee and creamy American oak on the middle. Becomes very Bourbon-like. \n

Finish

Long, alcoholic and herbal, again almost rye-like and a light marc-like note, the oak returns on the after-taste.\n

Comment

Wonderfully intense. Comes across like a multi-grain barley / rye whisky. A drop of water takes off the edge.
