Nose

Clean and a little buttery - think clotted cream toffee - then comes wet grass and gentle fruits. With water, choux pastry (profiterole) and custard tarts.

Palate

Prickly when neat with sweet white fruits, milk chocolate and grassiness.

Finish

Clean and lively.

All very poised and pleasant, but apart from its unusual provenance (an\runpeated Caol Ila) not exceptional.
