Nose

A hit of oaky vanilla toffee, then an unfamiliar hint of peat and a surprisingly emphatic sea note. A very long aroma.

Palate

Surprisingly sweet and juicy. The fresh oak character combines with the typical walnut, but somewhat overpowers the usual spiciness.

Finish

That very slight peat again, adding an appetising full stop.
