The Arran Malt
Fino Sherry Cask 8 Years Old
Standard (Distillery or blended)
Nose: Sherried. Deep earthiness. Damson jam. Dates,treacle. Fig syrup.
Palate: Sweet and concentrated. Dark dry fruit (prunes,sultanas,dates) like alsacian Christmas cakes. Wood\rshows off at mid-palate.Bitter note.
Finish: Sweet and bitter. Dark chocolate.

Nose: Tightly clustered,well-balanced, vanilla,oak,citrus,honey and nutmeg.
Palate: Light creamyness and mellow dryness,then vanilla sweetness, orange marmalade,cooked apples,\rcitrus zest freshness and subtle oak.
Finish: Lightly spicy oak balanced by diminishing sweetness.
Comment: A constantly evolving balance of richness and dryness.
