Nose: Fabulously delicate. Soft vanilla, flickering malt, fruit salad with a smoke/oak combination.
Palate: Very even with a non-specific fruitness.
Finish: Light and softly oaked. Sensual spiciness.
Comment: Jim Cryle has done a wonderful job picking these casks.
Nose: Fruity. Sweetly flowery. Hay. Hint of peat.
Palate: Firm, lively. Sweet peaches, marshmallow, biscuity malt. Shortbread.
Finish: Spicy (cinnamon), appetising. Very long.
Comment: The Glenlivet is the fruitiest, most flowery and most delicate.
