Tasting Notes

Nose

Freshly baked cornbread, toffee sauce, All Bran and ginger cake with plenty of cinnamon. Orange oils and Virginia tobacco, new leather and a whiff of Ceylon tea. Delicate sage and rose water with water.

Palate

Candied orange and ginger segments with cinnamon. Glace cherry and fondant icing. A subtle burned sugar base note is supplemented by that delicate rose note.

Finish

Medium-short in length, fades to green apple and lingering cinnamon.

Comment

A solid daily sipper I’d like on my shelf. Takes water well.
