Nose
Dried red apple, freeze-dried strawberries, furniture polish, blueberry and honey-glazed granola.
Palate
Medium bodied. Orchard fruits, predominantly red apple, are joined by bramble crumble and then cashew nut, evolving into savoury oyster mushroom.
Finish
Long. Nutty and somewhat savoury. In time, this fades and red apple remains. Slightly drying as tannins make an appearance.
Comment
A pleasant dram that improves with time in the glass.
