Don't look for a big array of flavours: just variations on a theme, and most of them quite lovely.
30 Years Old
Nose: A little strained, honey-suckle sweetness.
Palate: Immediate bittersweet complexity.
Finish: Getting seriously old, but the oak remains the right side of delicious.
Comment: Don't look for a big array of flavours: just variations on a theme, and most of them quite lovely.
Nose: Almonds, passion fruit.
Palate: Quite full in body and palate. Firm, dry, malt background. Toasty. Very spicy.
Finish: Long. A very late crescendo. Warming.
Comment: It is more substantial than people think, as this bottling shows.
