Nose: Sultry, sultanas, smoke and brine. Some Cognac characters and even a whiff of tandoori food.
Palate: Smoky, viscous sweet pears, salty and peppery with a malty body.
Finish: Sherry shadowing the salty and peaty, warming aftermath.
Comment: Intriguing combination of flavours. Sweet meets peat.
Nose: Lightly grassy dryness. Burnt grass.
Palate: Light but textured. Grassy. Burnt grass. Fruity.
Finish: Lively, spicy, dry. Bitter.
Comment: Lacks the rich smokiness of Connemara.
