Nose

Fig jam, furniture polish, washed coffee bean, chicory, and black treacle. Crisp green apple, lemon and lime zest oils, and brambles. Dark chocolate. Some complex potpourri top notes.

Palate

Medium. Dark chocolate and coffee cake, chewy toffees, and cashew. Subtle Christmas cake spices and walnut liqueur. The citrus oils and crisp apple notes are here too. Takes water well.

Finish

Medium-short. Fades on the apple, citrus and chocolate notes.

Wonderfully moreish. Don’t let the high ABV put you off.
