Taster

Nose: Sweet apple skins, then juicy apple and fresh almonds. Lots of baking cupboard aromas - banana extract and vanilla sugar.

Palate: Tinned pears with the juice and white chocolate sauce. Fresh balsa wood and melon balls with honey.

Finish: A creamy, silky texture that softens with a little water.

Comment: A fresh aperitif dram.

Taster

Nose: Acetone/pear drops, into some ripe orchard fruit, a touch of dusty leather, a touch of white pepper and white flowers.

Palate: Some initial creaminess gives way into an oaky note, with a touch of subtle vanilla, some stewed gooseberries and lime peel. A little tart, but fresh together in the same sentence.

Finish: A touch of apple pie and a squirt of fresh lemon juice to boot.

Comment: Youthful in character, but not without its merits, with a particularly pleasing vanilla quality. Be prepared to dig deep to discover it though.
