Nose

Fairly gentle when first poured. Some pleasant notes of warm apple pie, toasted coconut, walnuts, and just a whiff of something like chlorine you get when passing by a pool in the distance.

Palate

More orchard fruit character on the palate alongside silky honey, nougat, some walnuts, and a bit of shaved oak and spice.

Finish

Slightly woodsy — you can taste the cask more as it lingers.

Comment

A perfectly fine whisky with nice balance if a bit subdued.
