Nose

A bit of lemon peel, then some walnut skins, meadow honey, apricot jam, wood smoke.

Palate

Very yummy — it just coats the palate and that smoke comes forward, alongside the rich sweetness and a nice citrus note.

Finish

As the sip finishes, the smoke really builds, alongside a nice, balanced spice.

This is just what I want to enjoy on a stormy day on Islay. Perfect for drinking in a pub on a damp winter’s day.
