Nose

A very sweet nose of Tarte Tatin, and uncooked pastry with almond extract. Fresh pear and green grape. Pear drops, moss and aniseed with water.

Palate

Intensely sweet with a gummy texture. Mead, honey, apple and tinned pear juice. Boiled sweets and Big Red gum. Lemon syrup.

Finish

Soft and very coating on the tongue. Not like any whisky I have tasted!

I didn’t know what to make of this but it was oddly likeable.
