Nose

A tropical fruit salad. Lychee and honeydew melon is joined by pomelo and overripe papaya. Kiwi and sweet malt is joined by white sesame and all-butter croissant with lemon curd. Sultana and mixed nuts, too.

Palate

Medium bodied. Intensely fruity at first, then buttery notes are joined by pistachio. Citrus top notes round out the edges – orange zest, in particular – with a suggestion of rose.

Finish

Medium length. Just a little heat with cucumber and celery.

Comment

A complex whisky with just a few cracks showing.
