Nose

Lemon and clementine peel, custard cream biscuits, and oatcakes with ash-rolled cheese. Dried oregano. Slight barnyard and sawdust notes. Barbecued pork fat. Underneath, hints of grape brandy and honeyed apricot.

Palate

Medium-full, mouth-filling. Dessert-wine-like sweetness, with honeyed apricot, peach, and pear. Gorse flower and a hint of chamomile tea. Brioche, walnut, toasted marshmallow, and woody embers.

Finish

Long, on honeysuckle and smoke.
