Palate: Light still, but with more fruit. Vanilla and caramelised fruits. Good silky, rounded, feel.

Finish: Smooth, liquorous.

Comment: A malty nose but balanced and quite sweet on the palate. A drinkable session dram.

Taster

Nose: Marzipan, quince, apples, peach slices and the top of a crème brûlée.

Palate: Vanilla, apples, and chewy toasted oak.

Finish: A tinny bloodiness.

Comment: Lots of American Oak, and a super clean character. Nowt wrong, but not quite enough right.
