Nose
Initially fruity but then a menthol note pokes through, like a thyme Bronchostop cough pastille. Some liquorice and cherry, alongside vanilla. Alluring, and slightly strange.
Palate
Quite cooling on the palate, again reminiscent of cough remedy. Herbal, slightly woodsy, a hint of frankincense, with a note of earthy spice. But also, oddly, banana foams.
Finish
Zingy and spicy, fairly lengthy.
Comment
An interesting whisky with punchy aromas. Hard to place, and definitely unique.
