Nose: Perfumy. Malty. Barley sugar. Pine resin. An earthy note. Wet soil and pine\rneedles. A hint of linseed.
Palate: Smooth and silky. Some oiliness. Sweet maltiness enhanced by a minty note. Develops on marzipan and soft spices.
Finish: Drier but gentle and delicate.
Comment: A well-structured dram with character and delicacy. Very refreshing. A perfect Speysider to recommend.

Nose: Mellow, vanilla cream (Chantilly?), cinder toffee,fresh wood shavings,with time fresh coffee.
Palate: Slightly bitter wood at first then bursts of spice,nutmeg,that cream is now a\rcustard note,cooked apples.
Finish: Spicy,long and warming.
Comment: A good whisky that does not really give its age away.
