Tasting Notes

Nose

Phenolic, with turfy smoke. Seems very young, with a sulphury edge. A greasy and slightly feinty note.

Palate

Sweeter than the nose suggests. The peat is better behaved than you expect. Slightly medicinal and slightly better with water.

Finish

Charred sticks.

Comment

Ominously pale and initial suspicions were proved correct. This has been bottled way too young.
