Tasting Notes

Nose

Grassy, honeyed. Lemon balm, touch of thyme. Develops on sour fruity notes. Gooseberry, redcurrants. Then a wave of vanilla floods the sour edge. Multilayered aromatic display.

Palate

Light, silky. Sweet at first with Demerara sugar and rum notes. Followed by a drier spiciness.

Finish

Lingering, dry but with a sweet exotic fruit aftertaste.

Comment

A rum finish? An interesting and complex dram with enough dryness to balance the sweet Demerara profile.
