Nose
This starts slightly cheesy - but in a nice way. Hazelnut, moist earth, dried herbs and the last of the summers’ fruits. Elegant.
Palate
Raisin and sultana allied to baked fruits with a touch of smoke. The grip is firm enough but not oppressive. Has guts behind the sweetness. Great balance.
Finish
Long and smooth.
Comment
Elegance. This is what mature whisky is about.
