Nose: Youthfully fresh and clean. Slight cleansing acidity - sparkling lemonade?
Palate: Lemon sharpness, balanced by a barley sugar sweetness.
Finish: First warming lemon ginger, then, later, a hint of dark organic chocolate.
Comment: A teasing early freshness is the overture to a richer, modestly structured, conclusion.

Taster
Nose: Clean, sweet and quite delicate. Light sappy notes: chewing on a leaf of grass, gooseberry jam, raffia. Becomes floral with a hint of flat ginger beer.
Palate: Light and fragrant becoming very sugary (gomme) with good delivery. Hay, coriander seed. A little hollow.
Finish: Drying slightly, surprisingly long.
Comment: An attractive summery aperitif. Just lacks a middle.
Score: 7.8
