Nose

Hard to get past the earthy notes of damp grass, manure, oil paints and linseed oil. Over ripe bananas, marzipan and butterscotch fudge start to peek through.

Palate

Wet bark, blood orange pith and muddy boots. Cherry leather, Battenberg cake and pistachio shells appear after the bitterness.

Finish

Chalky texture that allows a bitterness to coat the palate.

Comment

Like swallowing paracetamol tablets with a glass of orange juice.
