Style: Single Malt
Caramel and tamarind, vanilla yoghurt and gorse flower. Apples and pears poached in brown sugar and brandy. Honey on white French toast, with a touch of cinnamon.
Light bodied and fresh fruit forward. Cloudy apple juice and white grape, ripe pears and just a touch of rice paper. In time, it becomes drier.
Medium-short, fading to green apple core and a suggestion of white bread.
Very clean and well balanced, but not quite enough complexity to push it into the 8s for me.
