Nose

Toasted wholemeal bread, or perhaps sourdough; nutty, with walnuts and ground almonds. Baked apples with raspberry jam. Tia Maria.

Palate

Toasted note continues in a mouth-filling way; cloying, with tart redcurrants and a stack of cinnamon spice. Woody without being overpowering. Oranges with ginger.

Finish

Endlessly warm and delightful, with ginger, cinnamon and golden syrup.

Comment

Chock-full of flavour from active maturation. More superbly made Swedish whisky.
