Tasting Notes

Nose

Nutty, fresh and lively. A delicate touch of wild rose pops up before being submerged by liquorice and vanilla toffee. Quite tickling. Water releases more sweet toffee notes.

Palate

Smoother than expected at first then bursting out. Tangy mouthfeel. Not unpleasant though. Barley sugar. Gripping oak in the end.

Finish

Dry, oaky. Liquorice and nuts.

Comment

A warm character, just a little too assertive when it comes to oak but so uplifting.
