Nose: Intensely fruity, with Spangles and maraschino cherries.

Palate: Full-bodied, rich and luscious; cream, new leather and nutmeg.

Finish: Black pepper and new oak.

Comment: This doesn't really need more than four years.

Taster

Nose: Initially masses of fruit, red cherries, apple skins, cooked oranges. A sweet note, candyfloss and sticks of rock.

Palate: Follows the big brashness of the nose, coconut cream, hints of spices and a sweet edge.

Finish: Sweet oak and a little dry.

Comment: Has some swagger to it.
