Nose
Very light notes of lime juice, green apples, kiwi fruit and mango. Tropical fruits become prominent with time. A little grassy, with golden syrup and fudge.
Palate
Sweet and syrupy, with vanilla. Perhaps too one-sided in this respect – the tropical notes continue, but heavy vanilla over-powers somewhat. Kiwi fruit and lime still, with black pepper.
Finish
Long, citrusy and vegetative, with black pepper and cloves drawing out.
Comment
Not a particularly active maturation, but end results are pleasing.
