Nose
Slightly earthy tones of cinnamon and musk, with a touch of royal jelly and over ripe plums.
Palate
Subtle with layers of honey, spices and a hint of red chilli. Black cherries, again but this time framed with some lovely oaky tones which give a richness and depth. Very drinkable.
Finish
A big whack of real vanilla (pods) and the big oak which suggests this isn’t a shy and retiring dram, but one with some robustness to it.
Comment
Bigger than the last dram and more balanced, to boot.
