Nose

Brown sugar and treacle cake, furniture polish and oily smoked fish, ginger spice and tea rose, then brandy snaps, gently sulphur and spent matches.

Palate

Apple pie with brown sugar, then the spices kick in with cinnamon and ginger spice, and after fresh oak and stewed plums.

Finish

Prickly ginger spice and puckering tannins too.

Lovely. A super balance of light smoke, good wood integration, sweet fruity notes and gorgeous spice as well.
