Nose

Lots of rubber plasters and lemon peel to start, then wood polish and a library of books. It smells of a different time.

Palate

Surprisingly sweet on the palate, with bold caramel toffees and dark treacle fudge, then a touch of that wood polish from the nose and a hint of nutmeg spice.

Finish

Lengthy, with a good spicy bite.

I feel I could write a short story about this whisky — it really takes you to a place. Very tasty.
