Nose: Wet wool and damp cotton drying on the washing line, quite ozone-esque. Then it moves into bacon and warmed ciabatta bread. Roasted tomatoes and smoky bacon jam.
Palate: Very herbal, with a eucalyptus and menthol edge. Then air dried ham and smoked ham together. A little blue cheese tang, then heat from ground curry spice rises.
Finish: Zingy with the whole mouth lighting up with spices, smoke filled too.
Comment: Wonderful smoke layers here that are just in balance with the sweetness and fruit.

Nose: Give me all the lemons… and a packet of prawn cocktail crisps. A sprinkling of cider vinegar, tobacco ash and chipotle smoked pork chops. Finished off with marmalade smothered toast.
Palate: Lemon meringue pie topped with soft peach slices all stuffed into an oak chip smoker. Barbequed pork. Then more pork and maybe some maple syrup for good measure.
Finish: A whole lot of zest and smoke.
Comment: Eating smoked pork and maple pancakes off a freshly bleached bathroom floor. Yummy. Genuinely.
Score: 8.7
