I found it quite tough to really get into this – not very forthcoming on flavour.

Nose: Relatively closed at first. Some light suntan lotion notes, orange zest, white grapes and elderflower cordial peeking through.
Palate: Still incredibly light here, a little more of the elderflower note, with honey drizzled and clean linen. Just a hint of nutmeg.
Finish: Short and all fades to slightly spiced linen cupboard.
Comment: I found it quite tough to really get into this – not very forthcoming on flavour.

Nose: Delicate orchard fruits. Sultana and honey, pear drop and plum flesh. Icing sugar and vanilla.
Palate: Very light bodied. Vanilla custard and green apple. Perhaps a touch of bisongrass and chamomile. With time, a little whipped cream, oat biscuit and orange zest.
Finish: Short and gently drying. The chamomile lingers.
Comment: A delicate and quaffable blend, but lacking complexity. The quiet one at the party.
Score: 7.1
