Tasting Notes

Nose

An inviting nose of lemon sherbet and strawberry flavoured boiled sweets covered in icing sugar. (The ones your granny always had in the car) With water a delicate floral note of primrose and wine gums.

Palate

This was much heavier on the palate with sherry flavours roughing things up. Gingerbread and Jamaica loaf, lots of raisins. A hint of struck match. Then more malty, Horlicks and dry hay.

Finish

Chunky and then more nuttiness with water.

Comment

The nose is so much lighter than the taste – very one dimensional whisky.
