Taster

Nose: A warming nose of melting white chocolate, rich tea biscuits, some light tobacco notes and a hint of oak spice lead to a complex nose which gives dying embers with water added. \n

Palate: The oaky palate is rich and oily with lots of great tropical fruit notes playing for the stage with the oak spices. It works very well and with water is soft and delicious. \n

Finish: Wonderful age, poise and balance to this oaky, vanilla-filled finish. Aged notes, too.

Comment: A well aged whisky which deserves to have some attention and time dedicated to it.

Taster

Nose: Chunky and herbal (refill sherry cask?) with boiled sweets, barley and a touch of honey. Fragrant with time and hints of coffee, dried fruit, heather and earth.

Palate: Chunky with what appears to be a refill sherry herbal character. Malty and intense with alcohol boosted spice and hints of coffee and earth.

Finish: Long and herbal with a tongue tingling spicy finish and a late, brief hint of smoke. \n

Comment: Now, that’s a chunky, coffeed malt. Who needs a breakfast coffee when you can have this?
