Nose
Freeze-dried raspberries and dried orange peels take centre stage before some floor wax and mahogany. With water it’s more expressive with some added notes of ripe melon.
Palate
Very rich and very drying without water — more of that floor wax, then glacé cherries, dried apricots, sticky honey, and dark brown sugar. With water, it has brighter orange notes.
Finish
Fairly short with and without water but no major spiciness or intensity.
Comment
Classic European oak flavours come to the forefront.
